Saturday 10 July 2010, 7:30:00 PM at Ffrith Community Hall
This event will feature the following performance(s) :
EYES FRONT! music - film - nostalgia - Isla St Clair
‘EYES FRONT’ is an exciting combination of live performance and film about music in wartime. Singer and broadcaster Isla St Clair, performs a selection of popular songs, classics of their time, and tells the story behind them.

Joining Isla is film maker Patrick King who gives a fascinating and humorous “behind-the-scenes” look at the making of their award winning documentary films about music in war. Using film clips they illustrate how songs and music played an important part in people’s daily lives: for boosting morale, for propaganda or for just reminding people of better times.

This rich mix of song, film, funny out takes and interaction with the audience, makes for a light hearted family show that is both informative and wonderfully entertaining.

“Isla’s voice is beautifully pure ....”
