"HENNESSY & FRIENDS"
This is a rollicking evening that never fails to delight audiences wherever it goes.
The ever-changing show is "Night Out's" longest running success story. It features, as host and compere, famed Cardiff folk singer/songwriter,Frank Hennessy (popular presenter of BBC Wales folk programme 'Celtic Heartbeat'), supported by 'The Hennessys' (Dave Burns and Iolo Jones) - each of them solo artists in their own right. Their music and humour ensure that the evening goes with a swing - and with a tone that is acceptable in any company.
But you get more than "The Hennessys"; Frank introduces a range of performing artists
John Prior says:-
I continue to arrange this most popular arts variety show - just as I did when running the Night Out Scheme for tha Arts Council of Wales.
"Each performance also includes guest performers, who may be drawn from anywhere on the spectrum of professional performing arts. You can have a say in who these guest artists will be - or you can leave it to me and Frank to arrange. Set out the chairs in concert format - or sit around tables cabaret-style with food and drink available - it's up to you.

From the M4 / South Wales:
M4 West
A48 towards Carmarthen.
At Carmarthen, follow the sign for A40 Llandeilo at the first two roundabouts.
At the third roundabout take the A485 towards Lampeter.
Continue through Peniel, Rhydargaeau, and Alltwalis (beware 40mph speed limit - v. strict in W. Wales!)
Pass Windy Corner Texaco garage on the right, take the FIRST LEFT towards Pencader on the B4459.
Continue through Pencader, then turn LEFT onto the B4336 to Llandysul.
On reaching the junction at Pontweli (LLANDYSUL PADDLERS in front of you), turn RIGHT following signs to New Quay (A486).
Go through Llandysul following the New Quay signs, passing through the villages of Croeslan, Bwlchygroes, Ffostrasol and Capel Cynon.
At the next junction at SYNOD INN, turn RIGHT onto the main road A487 and head north following signs for Aberystwyth.
Continue through Llanarth, Llwyncelyn and Ffosyffin. In the centre of Aberaeron, immediately after the pelican crossing, turn RIGHT, then RIGHT again at the T-junction (FEATHERS HOTEL in front of you).
The Memorial Hall is the large building on the LEFT, just after the Leisure Centre signs.
From the North and East
Travel to Aberystwyth.
Head south on the A487 coast road (signposted Cardigan)
Drive through Llanfarian, Blaenplwyf, Llanrhystyd, Llanon, Aberarth
On entering Aberaeron, turn left at the fork junction on to the A482 signed Lampeter.
The Memorial Hall is the large building on the LEFT, just after the Leisure Centre signs.
From Lampeter
Take the A482 to Aberaeron
On entering Aberaeron, go straight on at the mini roundabout
Drive over the bridge, and the Memorial Hall is the large building on the RIGHT, just before the Leisure Centre sign
