Fusion Percussion Ensemble was formed in 2006 by four of Wales’ top freelance players. Early educational work was mainly based in Caerphilly, travelling to various comprehensive schools, running workshops and promoting the playing of percussion instruments.
Following a period of successful educational work the ensemble began presenting public performances, beginning with a concert at Wales Millennium Centre in early 2007. Their concert programme includes original works for percussion ensemble alongside new arrangements and commissions.
