Coronavirus/COVID-19: Night Out (07/05/21)
Information on Welsh Government Covid Alert
The Coronavirus Pandemic has affected all of us. Lockdown had
obvious consequences for Night Out and in March we were forced to
cancel all upcoming events for the foreseeable future. We did
however make sure that performers received at least a proportion of
their fees for any cancelled show.
At present the scheme is closed and we are not able to commit to
any new bookings . We are still in precarious times and none of us
knows what the next few months will deliver. We are hoping that if
things improve Night Out will be able to gently reopen in the
safest way possible once it is allowable to organise events
again. Unfortunately we do not as yet have a timetable for
when this will be.
If you are considering organising an event in the future, you
will need to consider how to make this safe. Welsh government have
produced guidance for a phased return rehearsing,
performing and taking part in the performing
arts. This is a live document and all
current restrictions apply, however it will give you some
indication of the things you will need to consider.
Now more than ever we all need to come together, we know how
much people value live arts and entertainment and to that end we
will ensure that performances can be reinstated as soon as it is
safe and advisable to do so.
Don't hesitate to ring or phone the office if you have any
queries. In the meantime, please stay safe and we look
forward to speaking to you again soon.
